xp_daytripperWhat the fuck is going on? First Doug, then Wade, and I've just gotten word from the firecracker that she and Kurt were shot this morning. Nothing lethal - whoever this is isn't going for the kill shots, at least, not yet, but this can't keep going. Who are these fuckers and where are they so we can go righteous bloody fury on their arses?
xp_daytripperJust got word from Angie - Doug's been shot. In the shoulder and he's fine for the moment, but they're not sure who's responsible. Most likely suspect is the Assassin's Guild - they still have that contract out on him.

Book Launch in NPC tonight

Some of the kids from the mansion are going, and since he's been popping up a lot lately, and we should probably have someone there. If only to stop the inevitable disaster that having several Xavier's kids in one spot will create.

1) The demon that possessed Tandy was the 'father' of the same one that took her last time. 'S called "The Dweller in the Dark", in suitably pretentious form.
1a) The possession ritual was done in Italy - I had some pings from the network about a major magical disruption over there, but they told me they had it covered.
2) The Dweller's back where it belongs. D'Spayre went with it, as far as I can tell, and Spite is little bitty pieces all over the Empire State observation deck.
3) The "Shades" that were attacking people are all gone, returned to the people they were dragged out of.
4) That New Jersey fucking sea cave from the stone scorpion attack the other year has cropped up again - Namor and Sue got teleported back to it with some kind of staff. I have the staff now and I'll be doing some serious work on things - there's definitely some kind of connection between Namor and the magic from this cave and I don't like how it keeps coming up.
5)Tandy's none the worse for wear, but I'll be watching her for any residual demon issues.
6) Our "friend" Brand and a couple of her SWORD agents were there as well. We had to use them to deal with things, but I used Namor as a cover and used the city to hide us all when things settled. I don't think she got much of a look at me, but she knows the kids are from Xavier's. We might have to do damage control if she tries to use it against the school, but considering we saved her arse from a total clusterfuck, I think she'll let this one go for now. Still, something to keep an eye on.

As in, opening a portal to another dimension type of power use. No indications yet if it's benign or not, but I've got our local branch of the network keeping an eye out and I'm about to do a bit of city diving to see if I can track the source.

Any way, it's a picture of a church in Italy that Wanda knows, so we're going to have a look. Just to be sure.

Jun. 13th, 2011 11:55 amxp_daytripperThis is getting serious - we've lost another contact. That old geezer, Lester Maddow, the one who retired to the south of France? He was found shot to death in his house last night. Police are calling it a robbery gone wrong.
We've definitely got a leak. Lester was inactive since his retirement and the only thing he was working on was his winery. Nothing to do with Von Struker's people, nothing you could trace him back to.
