X-Force: X-Force Only Comm

For those of you who weren't part of the rescue team, a summation.

The Xavier's highschoolers were all in town on a volunteer day when they were attacked and kidnapped by Slendermen. Yes, the Slendermen from the internet meme. They are in fact real. If you find yourself wondering about that, please see a handy telepath and one of us.

(I swear, this job is terrible on my collection of pop culture stuff to joke about in the office)

Anyways, Madelyne Pryor was able to break out of the psychic whammy and come to me and Amanda for help. We got them all rescued safely and back through a portal from whatever astral hideaway they take their prey to.

A more thorough write-up of the Slendermen and their capabilities will be in the files in the morning. Somehow I doubt they'll try sticking their necks out at us again, though. Remy pretty well terrified them.

All's well that ends in zero casualties for the good guys. And now, time for me to get my beer on and celebrate the return of hockey.
