It seems that yesterday's interesting news article might not be a coincidence after all. About an hour ago, I received a call from one of the victims of the Exemplars kidnapping scheme and it seems that several known members have been spotted in the area.

I do not know what they are up to or what their intent is but I doubt anything is innocent in nature.

I am thinking that we should offer up a safe house to house the women that wish to be hidden - one that we can close down without any problems after this has blown over. Also, we need someone stationed near the ones that will not want to vacate in case there's trouble - these people have powers, yes, but most of them are soccer moms, college students and those who have never fully trained themselves in using it.

In the mean time, we need to find out who is in town, what they are looking for and if we need to move against them. The last time I encountered them, I was blindsided. I refuse to let them have that kind of advantage again.

This is my "I knew this was coming" face. I will stop by after a bit so we can have that talk, I promise.

Sarah just got dispatched, by the way, to go pull security duty. Once we talk, you and I should head down to the safe house to get things prepared.

You know what's an absolute pain in the tuchus? Trying to figure out if the bad guys are tailing people, when they're all using freaking minivans. Do you have any idea how many minivans come into the city every day? Hint: whatever the number you're thinking is, it's probably more.

Also, I don't have the ability to hit the flashy CSI "enhance" button on traffic camera footage. More's the pity.

Generally, none of this situation is funny - except for that. Thank you, Douglas, for keeping a sharp eye on the group. We have them all settled in now and have spread their cars out amongst various lots around the city.

There are a handful of hold outs but Sarah's keeping a close eye on them.

And I will see if there is anything in the budget for that - I have a feeling Emma is already laughing.
