I swear, if CUNY calls one more time asking about the state's affirmative actions policies, I'm going to blast them straight to Albany. Their music might suck, but Metallica should give me enough power to do that.

I meant to post this this morning but those idiots kept me busy all day so I just remembered now. I know my club takes all kinds and we do get the occasional "omgz Magneto wuz rite" kind of person, but I noticed a whole cadre of folk talking about the Preservers this weekend. Not the kind of people you'd think were terrorists, though. They were young and could've been regulars except that I've never seen them before. I think they were trying to start shit but Rob scared them out of it. Nice to know that it just takes an ex-Marine who can absorb inorganic materials to stop a potential terrorist threat =/

Yeah, just thought I'd mention it. I don't know if it'll pan out to much, but I know that Remy would lodge his pole in an uncomfortable place if I didn't say anything, and he wouldn't even do it to be fun.

I have a powers question for you. Does the string quartet of Metallica do the same thing that the regular angry guitars Metallica does?

I have the string quartet CD if you want to try. It is surprisingly good. And I do not care for Metallica.

Also, Doug does a surprisingly decent James Hetfield impression.

Why is it that fringe lunatics seem to attract the worst sort of inarticulate idiots? Because I swear I've seen some "omgz Magento wuz rite!!!1111!!!one!" on some messageboards I've been watching since this Preserver bullcrap.

Also, dear Internet leetspeakers, "Rogue" is a fairly invulnerable mutant from the South, and a good friend. "Rouge" is a shade of red, or a type of makeup.

It's a good thing I keep eyeforks handy for when I'm doing this sort of thing.

Re Preservers - should we pass this onto the leather brigade, what with their links to the official powers and all? Since we're not supposed to be anything more than a think tank and whilst I'm all for finding these fuckers and doing something dramatic and permanent to them, if they're got the numbers to hit three international targets within hours of each other, we probably don't have the manpower. Especially if mutant powers are involved somehow.
