Woke up to the magical equivalent of someone bashing me in the skull with a mallet. One of my wards has been triggered - Bishop, you up for providing backup while I check which one?

So has anyone noticed anything strange happening in London?

Okay, to extend on 'strange'... something's up with my powers and it's to do with London. I've been running through the usual scans and trying to drum up some people, and nothing so far, but something is really messing about with my powers. And I got this call from London, kids' voices singing "London Bridge is falling down" - that qualifies as our kind of strange, right?

If we can't find anything on the feeds and whatnot, can we go check it out in person?

It's my 21st birthday on April 14 and a) I won't be into work on Tuesday unless the world is ending, and b) I'm having a pub crawl and if you can handle a mixed bag of Juniour Trenchcoats and mansion people drinking their way through New York, you're invited to join us. Or at least join the first stop - Finnegan's.

PS: Depending on where Mark is on that day, I'm thinking a quiet prelim thing with the JTs so he can join in on the fun too.

This is probably me just being extra paranoid after the whole Warwolf thing, but has anyone seen or heard from Wanda today? She went off with Garrison Kane yesterday on some case or other and I haven't seen her since. And she always calls in if she's not going to be at work.

Sorry this is a bit late - had to do a bit of checking up at the hospital, which meant pretending to be Miguel's girlfriend.

There was trouble last night at the mutant drop in center. Church of Humanity thugs grabbed Alejandra and that Professor Lee and left Miguel for dead. He came to my place looking for Angelo, found him and we rounded up a rescue team. Found them holed up in the Morlock tunnels, where they'd be crucifying mutants for at least a month or two, to judge from the bodies. We took care of them, but Miguel got himself shot and I stayed with Angelo to wait for the X-Men who were coming in as backup.

Miguel needed healing, so I patched him up as best I could. I did a fade before the leathers turned up to avoid complications, considering there were a lot of dead religious nutters lying around after the healing. No-one left for questioning, but I did see this weird symbol on the bottom of the cross Alejandra was nailed to. Wanda, I'll try to draw it from memory and run it through the database, see if it matches anything. Sorry, but it was a case of life or death, and I wasn't about to drain Angelo dry, no matter what he was asking.

Miguel's in intensive care, and Alejandra's recovering. There might be some issues with the coroner's office since I think the leathers made a tip off for the bodies to get collected - there's a few of bodies with no explainable cause of death.

And yes, I'm seeing Sofia.

So, none of the normal stuff has turned up Doug's mate - he's not in any of the hospitals, the police haven't picked him up, the search party hasn't found hide or hair of him. Is it worth looking at making an appearance?

I'm about to head over to Westchester to take my boyfriend some lunch, and on the way back I'll be stopping to chase up some stuff Pete gave me in Salem Center's archives. I'll have my phone with me, but if you need me, call? I won't be checking email or the journals.

Just giving the official head's up, seeing how not everyone reads the school journals. I'm taking off for a couple of weeks with Ange - we've both hit the point we can't deal with anything more, so we're getting out of here. I'll have the phone with me, if I'm needed, but I figure the Boss Lady and Illyana have the weird magic shite side of things under control. And Sof can probably tell you I'm not quite ready to go back to the whole life risking, bastard chasing thing.

So, in case people were wondering, I'm in LA. With Angelo. I probably should have said something, given the last time I disappeared in LA with Angelo was just over three years ago exactly, but things were a bit rushed. No, not some gruesome anniversary thing - Ange got a call from someone he knew here and we're here doing a favour. I thought it might be over and done with over the weekend, but not so much - looks like there's some undercover going on.

I'll keep in touch, and yell if I need backup. Should be done in a week or so, depending on circumstances. And how this afternoon goes.
