Far Side of the World

Heading back from my travels this summer with the hope of staying in New York for longer than a four-hour layover to some god-forsaken location. For those that are interested, I've seen our wayward Cajun and he's in decent spirits for now.
Not that it's entirely relevant but I must say that I was quite annoyed that my intended layover in Los Angeles didn't bring the reunion I'd hope. I'd plan on seeing Lorna and Allison for a few days but unfortunately Alison couldn't be bothered to meet up. Her manager said she'd finally had a break-through with her music and is in the middle of making her newest album. While I am always happy and proud of Alison's accomplishments, I can't help but be very annoyed at this but I'll try to hold my tongue. Music or not, Alison had always made time for family but these things change.
Either way, I'll be returning this week to New York and will request for transport back to the Brownstone from someone that is not David Haller. Hopefully, I'll wrangle one of the younger ones to make the trip to JFK to come retrieve me.
It'll be good to be home again.
