Update on Mr. Barnes

So Jubilee found a safe, and got some information out of it.

And I got an exciting collection of cuts and bruises, as Mr. Barnes came home early and worked me over pretty hard. Thankfully Wade showed up looking for Marie-Ange, and Mr. Barnes made scarce.

I did manage to get some skin scrapings under my fingers grabbing at him as he left, and had a rush job done on the DNA. Weirdly, though, he comes up negative for the X-gene and any other kind of meta-human enhancement. So if the tests are right, he couldn't possibly have done some of the stuff that the report on the destroyed numbers station says happened.

Anyways, we're in the office, so teleconference in a bit?

Do I want to know how he managed to "work you over" if he is normal? It has to be something that was overlooked in the tests. Unless you really do like getting beaten up. I saw those updates about you and Angelo.

To be fair, he got your boyfriend with the pepper spray too.
