Right then. I'm just back from Xaviers's Halfway House for Criminals, Substance Abusers and People Who Can't Be Trusted With Anything Sharp. I have been visiting Nate, for what good that might do. I don't have so many old friends that I can spare one, and some fucker has put him in a coma. Guess how happy I am?

Anyway, while I was there, I checked in with Summers, and Dom, who is in town for obvious reasons, and as I'm sure you can all imagine, even less happy about this than I am, which only makes my mood worse. Anyway, it turns out that one of the coma-dispensing shitbags in question is John fucking Lense, late of Mistra, and apparently not terribly happy about the "late" part, the ungrateful cunt.

I'm going to make some calls, because I suspect even the US Government aren't stupid enough to let a special-forces trained mutant out of psychiatric care without trying to keep some kind of tabs on him, even if they do believe he's "recovered", despite what Summers got off the rehab-scheme people when he spoke to them. It'll give us a starting point anyway, but I want to know what the fucker has been doing, and preferably, where we can find him now, because there is a lengthy queue of people lining up to hurt the bastard - I believe I'm in fourth place, behind Moira, Dom and Angelo, but the very important part about this is that behind me there are a large number of ex-Mistra types who are taking this really personally, and if we don't find something fairly fast, they may decide to start smashing things at random on the basis he has to be hiding behind something.

Dom's told them we're looking into it, so they'll sit on their hands for now, but Mistra did not select for patience and willingness to sit around doing nothing when they picked people to screw with. As Dom put it, she can keep them from going off the reservation for a while, but it'd be much better if they had a target, and we could all go off the reservation together and teach the fucker his lesson.

On it. Doug, I think we're going to need your computer magic for the government stuff - if they've cocked things up, they're not going to be willing to talk about it, so we'll need to get into their records. Which I know is exactly your favourite thing to do.

On whichever of the menus Doug picks from, there should be a few items that are highlighted in green - I like any of those and they are safe for normal people and not people who eat spicy pepper pizza at 4 in the morning.

If he's out in the open, his opinions are limited. Langstrom will be looking for him, and Fury too. If that's the case, he'll be trying to look to get outside of where he expects the existing players to be searching.

Marie-Ange, there's a number in my desk for David Guese. Call him and explain what you're looking for. If Lense is trying to get out using criminal connections, the Guilds might get a sniff.
