So has anyone noticed anything strange happening in London?

Okay, to extend on 'strange'... something's up with my powers and it's to do with London. I've been running through the usual scans and trying to drum up some people, and nothing so far, but something is really messing about with my powers. And I got this call from London, kids' voices singing "London Bridge is falling down" - that qualifies as our kind of strange, right?

If we can't find anything on the feeds and whatnot, can we go check it out in person?

London is a very large city and strange could cover...a great deal. But let me put in some calls to some contacts. A few of them would still be awake, despite the late hour over there.

Well, Harrods seems to be in the pink of health, as are a number of the more fabulous bespoke tailors. There's nothing particularly roiling on the psychic plane that I've noticed, though since Farouk tore apart the Astral Plane, that may not indicate anything particularly.

I shall be here for a number of days if you require anything in particular looked at.

Creepy phone calls from across the ocean - I'd say that's right up our alley. Did it come with a number in the caller ID? If it did, let's see where the other end is.

In the mean time, I could do with a trip to England. Agatha's happily settled in Cambridge at the moment, so it's safe.

Yeah, tried the caller ID thing already. Public phone box on Cannon Street. Doug's doing the techie thing on it now to see if the number was actually dialled, or routed through there.

You're telling me. I've had that fucking song stuck in my head since yesterday. Even if there's nothing going on, can we go so I can go to London Bridge and make it fall down?

If no one has any objections, I say we book the plane tickets. At the very least, you get to shake your fist at the London Bridge and I get to visit some of my favorite bookstores.

I can't sleep. I haven't been this twitchy since... well, since March 2004. And the song won't stop.

Anyone caught destroying bridges or other important parts of landscape in the only truly civilised city on the planet is fired.

Otherwise yes, flights ASAP. If something weird is going on in my home town, I want to know what it is, and I want it stopped.
