Just for my information

If the idiots at the school annoy us, is it okay to tell them what we do so that they'll shut up for once, or is that reserved for today only? If not, I'll need the day off tomorrow. I have a lot of backlogged told-you-sos to get to, and there are a lot of them over there.

Fair point.

We're supposed to more or less be grown ups, they're children.

Take a breath, everyone. I'm buying the first couple of rounds at Finnegans tonight.

That'd be why I took off with Angie for coffee and sun - I've already made myself a git on the journals last month. It's just so... he thinks it's some kind of fucking game, or a comic book or something. Too bad he didn't see the state of Mark when he got back, let alone those poor bastards the 'Wolves got.

Any way. Deep breath. Beer later.

Far be it from me to turn down an invite like that. Though I suppose it would behoove me to actually get dressed - after Amanda forced me home, my body decided that all stress and no sleep make for a very manic Wanda and out like a light I went.

I could always offer him a trip to Madripoor, it certainly cured me of my ideals.

Does it have to be beer this time, or can I have a fruity drink instead?

You'd be surprised

Blowing things up doesn't always cure you of being an idealist, I should know. I'm not phased by him at all. Up for coffee by the way? We haven't talked much since I returned. I feel a need to remedy this unfortunate state of affairs.

The sun and coffee helped, thank you. It kept me from reminding that boy that he does not know most of us at all and making blanket statements about people you do not know is stupid.

But, I do not think he thinks it is a game or a joke. This is the boy who destroyed San Diego. I think of any of the students, he knows what death is.

He made a stupid joke. Leave it at that. We have all said stupid things in the past out of a lack of understanding. I am sure many of us will again. We usually do.

Nah, I just figure if I had to go through it, I should share the love. What? Madripoor is terribly educational and I would suggest a school trip there very soon. It would be awesome. I suggest the Princess bar as a starting point.

Figure lunchtime tomorrow? We can pretend it's business related and charge the work card for it.

You know Emma can read this, right? And she's the one making us account for all our expenses, which is why the running around inventorying stuff?

Yesss, I know. Maybe I should simply quit while I'm behind with this whole humor thing? I appear to have completely forgotten how to do it properly.
